Antioxidant Berry Acai Bowl

​That little finger is my daughter telling me "the smoothie bowl is for you but the pomegranate is mine!"

And how I adore her love of fruit and veg. There's no sweeter sound than when that little voice says to me, "posso avere un po' di spinaci mamma?" (Translation: "can I have some spinach mommy?")

This smoothie bowl (that, incidentally, my daughter shared with me after her pomegranate fiesta) was rich with berries full of antioxidants to step up today's nutrition intake.

For two servings blend:

1 frozen banana

1/4 cup frozen blueberries

1/4 cup frozen raspberries

1 handful blackberries

10 frozen strawberries

2 handfuls baby spinach

1 cup almond milk (or any other plant based milk)

1 tsp acai powder

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp tahini

Instructions:

Blend (with a vitamix if possible), decorate (this bowl is finished off with banana rounds, pomegranate, mint leaves and puffed quinoa), serve and enjoy...because who doesn't love a big dose of antioxidants??? 🍒🍇🍓
